9am -1pm - spent clearing the scrub, reeds and overgrown sedge in the reedbed area. Any green sedge collected into piles, so they could be sold at a later date. Whilst clearing this area using rakes and various other tools, there were some fascinating spiders including Orb webs and even a Wasp Spider.
